Hi! I'm Maria 👋
I've always fallen somewhere between artsy and nerdy and, back in the day, I didn’t really know what to do with that. So I left Brazil hoping to explore my wide range of interests through the liberal arts education the US had to offer. At Yale, I discovered my passions for writing, graphic design, recording music, and learning about the human mind through science and art.
Then one day, a friend introduced me to UX Design — suddenly that awkward position between artsy and nerdy started feeling more like a sweet spot. I started taking on independent projects around campus and soon after I landed my first internship at a fast-growing AgTech StartUp. What was supposed to be a two-month gig became a yearlong collaboration, and my love for UX crystalized.
Since then, I have worked on several projects, always leveraging my visual acumen and systemic thinking to create easy and intuitive digital experiences.
